Yesterday I had a doc appointment and Sean and I got to hear babys heartbeat!
When the nurse put the thingy on my belly we heard the heartbeat and right away she exclaimed “oh that’s a girl!!!” I said well thats good news.. but why? She said the boys always seem hard to find and she can always find the girls right away! It’s her own little pregnancy myth but I am clinging to it!

I had a dream last night that you were having a girl… and a boy!
(PS- It was twins… it wasn’t like my pregnancy dreams where I was having a girl and a boy and there was only one baby! Haha!)

Liz, the funny thing is Sean and I have thought this was twins off and on during this pregnancy… Even when we got the ultrasound the first time the doc was “unclear” on # of heads…. He said “oh theres the head, oh wait, no there’s the head”, and we were like WHAT!!! twins? But then he said he couldnt determine that at this time…..
Then when we heard the heartbeat sean thought it was going to be twins for a moment because she said “OH!” in the middle of the exam… with a long pause after. And I saw seans face light up. hhaha
Guess we wont know for sure until the 16th! Sean thinks it would great, im a little petrified at having 3 kids 2 and under

Not to discourage you on the girl thing, but the first time we heard Whitt’s heartbeat we wanted to video tape it. The nurse would not let us start filming until she found the heartbeat; I guess this was just to make sure there would be one. Then, right when she put the thing on my belly, she goes, “Whoah! There it is!!!” So she found his right away and he turned out to be a boy. But, our nurse didn’t have any type of theory about that. Now when we listen to his heartbeat, he practically runs from the monitor thing! They do have a hard time getting a good read on the heart rate because he moves around so much! I hope this is not a small glimpse at his personality!! ha!

Hmm didn’t I have a dream you had twins???? And remember my other two pregnancy dreams I had about myself?! Each time I was pregnant I had a dream about being pregnant a few days before I found out!

They said it’s because your body is getting back to it’s normal cycle and your hormone levels are readjusting. So instead of a 3% chance of twins you have a 4% chance.
